This morning we headed for Porches, where we were staying for the next couple of nights.

The picture-postcard village of Porches lies between Alcantarilha and Lagoa. The place is distinctive for its cluster of classic white regional-style houses.

We were staying in such a great place as well. We walked into our room expecting a room for 2 and not only were there 2 double bedrooms but 2 bathrooms AND THREE balconys. One facing the pool area, one facing the sea and the other facing hte pool and the sea area. This was incredible and we were sure that another couple was going to walk in and say they were sharing this apartment with us. Well, either that or we had the going rate wrong and we were in trouble with money !

Needless to say we spent the next couple of nights in this awesome apartment ALONE and it was fantastic.
